This model has a Juniper wood handle, a 12C27 sandwik steel blade and a Liner Lock safety system. Delivered with a leather box.
The Cursina, inspired by old knives, is part of the Collection of Corsican knives Zuria, Antoine and Camille, brothers and cutler craftsmen in Bonifacio.
In the past, this Corsican shepherd's or peasant's knife, called "La Cursina" was considered more of a tool than a pocket knife. Its particularity is due to the shape of its blade with a very rounded back, varying from one region or from one blacksmith to another and comprising a tarabiscot (tool for making moldings in wood). This rustic knife, once forgotten, is now sought after by hunters who use it to skin and carve wild boar.
Please note: This is a handcrafted knife, so each piece is unique.
