La Cursina Corsican knife in olive wood, Liner lock system
This folding Corsican knife is handcrafted in Bonifacio, it comes from the Cursina Collection. The Cursina measures a total of 20 cm and is available with different handles in wood, horns or bones, stainless steel, carbon or Damascus blades for the most beautiful and different closure systems.
This model has an olive wood handle, a 12C27 sandwik steel blade and a Liner Lock security system. Comes with a leather case.
The Cursina, inspired by ancient knives, is part of the Collection of Corsican knives Zuria, Antoine and Camille, brothers and Artisans Couteliers in Bonifacio.
In the past, this Corsican shepherd's or shepherd's knife, called "La Cursina", was considered a tool rather than a pocket knife. Its peculiarity is due to the shape of its blade with a very rounded back, varying from one region or blacksmith to another and with a tarabiscot (a tool for making moldings in wood). This rustic knife, once forgotten, is now sought after by hunters who use it to cut and cut wild boar.
