Knife Corsica craft: Cursina in Horn with Liner Lock
Formerly, knife of shepherd or farmer Corsica, Cursina was rather considered a tool than a pocketknife.
His peculiarity holds the form of its blade in the very round back, varying of a region or from a smith to the other one and containing a tarabiscot (tool to make mouldings in the wood).
Handles were shaped from materials found on the spot (wood, bone, horn). This rustic knife, a forgotten time, is looked for by the hunters today which use it to dismember and cut the wild boar.
Cursina, inspired by the former knives, is a part of the Collection of the craft knives of the brothers Zurias, Antoine and Camille, Craftsmen Cutlers in Bonifacio.
