Conceived and designed in Corsica by our professional cutlers, Antoine and Camille Zuria in Bonifacio who have joined forces with Gilles® Fontenille Pataud in Thiers and Robert Beillonnet, M.O.F 1997 and 2000.
This knife is called "Pialincu", in tribute to the ancestral peasant Bonifacien * who left the citadel before sunrise to get to the foot of his donkey on the "Piale", this close campaign Boniface where, each family owned a small piece of land surrounded by dry stone walls. Pialincu spent his day there, making the most of this arid land to feed his family. His knife never left him.
This knife "Pialincu" measures 10.5 cm closed, which is rare and suitable for small hands including those of women. Its mechanism consists of a single piece with a safety catch on the back. Its handle is natural wood (olive, oak, juniper, heather root ...), horn (cow, ram) or bone. Its blade is stainless steel "14C28N" or "RWL 34". There are more prestigious models mounted with Damascus blade.
