"Handmade" knife: The Sperone in root of Heather
This sublime knife imagined and designed by us in Corsica is the result of the collaboration of renowned cutters: the brothers Zuria de Bonifacio, Gilles Fontenille Pataud and Robert Beillonnet, Best Worker in France in 1997 and 2000.
With its very soft opening and its system of blocking of blade by back pump, the blade does not strike the bottom of the knife in the closure. His finishes in every detail, make a knife very pleasant to the everyday life: with his spring forged, chiselled and polished inside, engraved Corsica, noble materials and quality steels.
The Sperone is available in 14C28N and RWL 34 stainless steel. It comes with a leather belt case.
Blade:
- Swedish 14C28N stainless steel, 3 mm thick at heel. Hardness: 56 Hrc
- Special steel RWL34. Hardness 60: Hrc
Handle: Heather root 1st choice. Each handle is unique.
Technique: blocking of blade with back pump (lock-back), stubborn fixed for the blade: that this does not strike the bottom of the knife in the closure.
Finish: internal forged, chiselled and polished Spring.
