This "handmade" knife is called the "Pialincu" in homage to the ancestral peasant bonifacien* who left the citadel before sunrise to go, at his donkey’s pace, on the "Piale", this nearby Bonifacian countryside where each family owned a small piece of land surrounded by dry stone walls. The Zuria brothers imagined and designed this knife in Corsica in collaboration with Fontenille Pataud, cutler at Thiers and Robert Beillonnet, best worker in France. This model, from the Zuria Collection, measures 10 cm when it is closed, which is quite rare. It is perfect for small hands, especially for women. *The last Pialincu bonifacien was named Dominique Zuria. He died in 2010. This knife is dedicated to him.
