"Handmade" knife: U Cumpà in Deer Wood

The Cumpà is a folding knife imagined and designed in Corsica where the traditional technique is perfectly combined with a modern design. The Zuria cutlers from Bonifacio created this model with Gilles® Fontenille Pataud in Thiers. He was christened "U Cumpà" which means "The Companion" in Bonifacio.

Of a single hand, the opening and the closure are facilitated thanks to Corsica stylized on the blade of the knife and the Liner lock system.

Handle : real antler, 1st choice, thickness 5 mm
Design: Handle and security system stylized, perforated blade representing Corsica for an opening of a single hand
Blade and Platinum(Deck): blade 2.50 mm in thickness. Swedish steel 12C27 polished matt. Hardness obtained after cryogenic tempering: 57Hrc
Mechanism in a single hand: Liner-lock system. System with ball dipped to maintain the closed blade and avoid an accidental opening. Assembly on a ring in Teflon
Size and weight: closed 10.5 cms, open 19 cms, approximately 110 g

Delivered with a leather case

Attention: this knife is made by craftsmen, every part is thus unique.
