Knife Corsican Artisanal: U Cumpà Juniper Wood
The Cumpà is a folding Corsican knife where the traditional technique combines perfectly with a modern design. Bonifacio's Zuria Couteliers created this model with Gilles® Fontenille Pataud in Thiers. It was named "U Cumpà" which means "The companion" in Bonifacio.
With one hand, opening and closing are facilitated thanks to stylized Corsica on the blade of the knife and the Liner lock system.
Handle: Cèvennes Juniper Loupe, 1st choice, fragrant wood like pencils
Design: Stylish handle and safety system, perforated blade representing Corsica for one-handed opening
Blade & Platinum: blade 2.50 mm thick. Matt polished 12C27 Swedish steel. Hardness obtained after cryogenic quenching: 57Hrc
One-handed mechanism: Liner-lock system. Hardened ball system to keep the blade closed and prevent accidental opening. Mounting on a Teflon ring
Dimensions & weight: 10.5 cm closed, 19 cm open, approx. 110 g
Comes with a leather belt holster
